Attention Revvers! The world is coming to an end in my home!

Apparently the Revvers weekend dates are the same weekend as a wine "getaway" that my wife really wanted us to go to. I know you are thinking I am backing out, HELL NO! I did however tell her I would ask everyone if they would switch dates for the Revvers.

Please just reply "no" so I am not a liar and so I can tell her I tried "real hard" to get the date changed. Except for Vic, please reply, "I bought my ticket already you dummy" (even if you have not).

I appreciate the Revvers co-operation in this filial matter.

Sincerily,
James "No way in Hell I am missing this thing" Gibson

No ticket bought yet. Gimme the alternate date soon. I have begun shopping for rates.

If you're not carefull I will be staying at your hut Razor! I don't think you want to expose the ol lady to the Vicman[>:] on a freebie weekend! I am a speed freak! And I have shown a pattern of steady employment[X(].

Thats gotta hurt.[8D]

Tell me what you want bro. You and FBD are the main draw. Sorry SJ, Kmot, and CT.

James, that reminds me of the many Valentines Day "weekend" (not sure when it grew into a weekend) plans that fell on one of our popular fun fly's. I missed many good flying days from that but they finally moved it since it rained 3 years in a row.
I'll help a brother out, NO! already chiseled on the calendar.

All that crap and my wife says tonight, "that wine festival is in November not October 21-22" I stodd my ground anyway though...

What is everybody bringing?

Are Tom and Cobra gonna light up the skies?

Will Junkie have a home-made speed thingee for the divot competition?

Will Dave cut the corners? (Edit: Dave ALWAYS cuts the corners, even in a circle)

Anybody got anything new to fly?

Sorry Crash my mistake I was thinking you were KMOT- I was on the run this morning!

You are a Revver from down unda! So have you ever had Caipirinha (SP?)? It is a Brazilian "beverage", you mix that with sugar and lime/lemon and it is GOOD! Maybe that with the Carne Asada?

Cheers!

[sm=thumbs_up.gif] Cool no worries, I knew who you were on about. Apperantely Kmot's hangar queen F20 is allowed to fly now!!

No mate never tried Caipirinha, to be honest, have never heard of it. Will have to look out for it.

Funny thing, this time last year was in Montreal for a month for work, & we were drinking Corona, & found out I am alergic to the real Mexican stuff. Came out in a beast of a rash from it !!! We get Corona here but is made locally. As you can guess the boys had fun with that 1.....

Have just finished a CM Pro Lark pattern ship this week. My new Revvers machines will be ready for Xmas this year, a rebuild of my pylon model starts next week with a new wing, & another F20. Sportsman machine this time, with the SJ50 & SS muffler.

Hmmm Revvers 3, if only i could borrow a Learjet from work.....

Man, I'd really like to make it to this one. Just can't confirm yet.

If I can make it, I'll bring my SJ-50 LR-1 and some speed electrics (small-"Quick", medium-"Avionik D99", large- "Excite F5D") Eric and Mark F's stuff would be Monster speed electric!! Hope to see them there.

Hi Vic, & James,

Yeah stingrays are pretty docile, you can hand feed the things no worries at all. Out of all the crazy things Stevo has done, that was a pretty relaxed trip.

The public memorial for him was yesterday at Australia Zoo. I live about 30 mins north of there & have been plenty of times, I hope it keeps going,as its a great place.

No worries with work, they have to keep training pilots as the airline still needing more pilots. At least mine makes huge profits still.

James, I had seen your head pop on the pattern side a couple of times. Its a Lark with a TT61 Pro, should have plenty of vert hopefully.

Sounds like you boys have it all sorted, cant wait for the pix !!

Tony.

Vic....it would have (maybe) been better if you could have the return on
Monday....last time we got blown out on Sat., and didn't get any real flying
in till Sunday. But if this is the case, we can make it a three day gig....

....Friday, Sat., and Sunday. The timing of your flight in is good, because of the
traffic down there in the late afternoon is horiffic. [X(]

You can get a car, and come straight up, we'll take care of the accomodations
unless you really wanted to get a room in Apply Valley....about 15 mins away
from the Dry Lake....not a problem. Then you will have your own wheels to run to
the store in, or whatever.

YEAH, BABY !!

Airbike- (cool name by the way) We would be thrilled to have ya! If you are 50 MPH slower than Mark F's stuff, you are still a speedy super-freak! He is INSANE... last Revvers was the first time I met him and first time seeing an Electric go like that and apparently his fastest ship was the one that didn't go--- Probably my bad pylon launch! [X(]

Crash- I have always wanted to try pattern since about 1983 at least , and Sweetpea was nice enough to give me a great deal on the 2 x 2. My dad is 81 and ever since I was a kid he wanted me to try pattern- so now he will be my caller (heaven help us both!). I need some stuff to be RTF so it'll be as $ permits. The ES CF pipe is almost $200 bucks!

I am sorry for your loss down under! The Croc-hunta has inspired an entire generation of kids (as well as, many adults) and taught them about wildlife and conservation, all in a wonderfully entertaining fashion. He was an inspiration and will be missed!

Cheers all!
