prop for Nova Rossi 50 on a Kougar?

Kougar
I'm in the middle of building a Kougar right now. Did you beef up the firewall? The stock one looks kind of flimsy for a hot engine. I'm going with a Rossi .40. I've been thinking of using at least 1/4" Ply with the 1/8" backing. What do you think? As far as the props, I'd start out with a APC 9X8 and fine tune from there. The Nova Rossi should have no problem with that. Let us know how it flies.

prop for Nova Rossi 50 on a Kougar?
Hello!
As the SIG Cougar is not a particularly fast airplane because of it's thick wing I would suggest a 10x6 -10x7 APC prop if you use the engine with a tuned mini-pipe.
I think a 9x7 or a 9x6,5 might give higher speed , but only slighly as this airplane is rather slow in flight because of it's thick wing.
If you want to go fast......get a Q-500 racer!!
