Default Enforcer Video Finally

Ok, I finally made a video for the enforcer. For anyone that fly's fast planes, could you estimate the speed of this plane from the vid? I know it is hard but your best guess would be appreciated. Here is the link...

That Tower 75 is one sweet engine, huh ? My guess is right about 110 MPH.

I had a friend with an Enforcer with a Super Tiger .75 in it, and yours runs much better
and faster than his did.

I woun't guess the speed until I vid one of mine so I would have a referance point of how it looks in real life as compared to on a vid.

I was shocked how much it looks like a F-14 doing a wings back flyby, I would have never thought that from seeing it on the ground.

I'm guessing about 102.3 mph. Enforcer's are fun; just not real fast. And yes, I have one (Hello, Rocky). If you want to see a plane running 172 mph, go here: http://www.megamotorsusa.com/Videos/...ideo-Henke.wmv Just don't blink!

I know flying sailplanes is like watching grass grow................they must have used some good fertilizer!

This is what 301 mph looks like.

I did three samples with wavoscope and the best speed was just over 100 mph.

It's hard to estimate since there aren't many scenes where you are low enough to get a good reference point. My best guess is a little over 100 mph.

With its thick airfoil it takes a lot of power to get an Enforcer to go really fast. My turbine Enforcer with a Ram 500 (12# of thrust) was clocked at 160 mph. It now has an Artes Bee turbine on it (also 12#) and is a bit slower, probably 150 mph. A friend built one and put a Jetcat P-70 (18# of thrust) on it. We are afraid to open it up all the way. I flew it at 3/4 throttle and it was going about 180 mph.

Hi JoeFlyer,
How fast does your DF Enforcer go? I now you have 2 Enforcers. A turbine and a ducted fan, correct?

Rocky,
My DF Enforcer is a little slower than the turbine, but still pretty quick. I'd estimate 140 mph. It has an OS91 with Byron fan for power. Another guy in my club built one with an OS77. It's a bit slower, maybe 125 - 130 mph.

As you can guess I really like my Enforcers. It is a very versatile airframe and a favorite among kit bashers. Here's a couple of pictures of my two.

Joeflyer,

Can you still get byron fans? If so where?
I have a rossi 61-81 DF motor that I would like to put in an enforcer.
