It's one of those all purpose "Boom Box"..RC radio...and fishing poles that he mainly uses to scamper around and lift women's dresses up with.

Being that I graduated in 85 and with a brush cut. I never really had a hippie stage. Unlike some of my brothers here.

Oldest trick in the book.
No news to me there Speedy, I used to formulate and blend epoxy resins and structural adhesives years ago, and worked with urethane systems as well. Many of the special epoxies revered by modellers are no more than downpack product, with curatives that will function well despite relatively crude volumetric mixing by the end user. I love the word "System" - as soon as the manufacturer puts that on the label, you know you got the good stuff..

As far as Polane and other PU coatings go.. I can imagine the mayhem if isocyanate curative systems were off the LHS shelf. Even using reasonable precautions, I had an anaphylactic reaction to a particular HMDI curative once, that was fun. Off to emerg for the magic adrenaline shot.

I'm not sure what species of hominid is in that photo, but I think he's got a more human looking face than the Great Apes have.
Just think, if you could teach one how to fly control line or RC, you'd never have to work another day in your life.

I'm surprised a guy with three or more model airplanes has either..

So far the only problem I see with flyingmachine's fleet is that the engines are all the correct displacement for the aircraft. This will need some work. But they are definitely in the correct spirit, so welcome to the fray.

Speed comes in many sizes here is my latest adventure the NANO .010

41.985 per rpm App
41.700 per Doppler / 59 mph with stock black 3 x 1.25 prop

3.11oz RTF with 5g of 35% nitro on board

Short clip of the pass at 41.700 to 41,985 rpm perhaps someone has some good software to confirm my efforts.

For the TD .010 this is skorchin some air, taken from the 5th test flight
from progressively tweaking the needle to the sweet spot.

You nailed it. 49.8 mph and .4 pound static thrust at 41,985rpm. http://personal.osi.hu/fuzesisz/strc_eng/

Here's my own design "Bullet". Converted to electric from .46AX glow. Scorpion HKIII 4025-1100 heli motor and 9x6 APC sport prop on 6S 4500 pack. Every bit of 105 mph and unlimited vertical. Flew it first time this spring. What a rip.
