Default PATRIOT 40 ARF COG

I have an old patriot 40 arf that I havbe been flying for a while now and it flys pretty good. I always had to put alot of left trim into it when flying it, and since I bought it used I thought it wa assembled incorrectly. Well it needed to be balanced latterally and I have resolved this problem. Now I am wodering about the cog. I went to great planes website and it shows the cog at 8 1/4" inches. I tested mine and it seems like it is going to take alot of tail weight to balance it. Does anybody have the manual for the patriot 40 arf and could see if ths is correct.

....I just checked my Patriot kit plans, and it calls for 8 1/2", with a 3/8" forward or
back option after initial testing.

Razor might chime in here, he had had a few Patriots.

The ARF is a tad different from the kit. WHen I get home later I will look it up for you- Seems to me it was 8 3/4 on the ARF but let me check first!

Okay I checked both manuals:

Arf is 8 1/4

Kit is 8 1/2

Hope this helps.
