This is the same setup as before, approximately 20% of the parts came from the first one. I flew it once..since i was scared to fly further when the sun was nearing its sunset.

Great looking Patriot........maybe you might be interested in a desert run ? we are getting together up at El Mirage dry lake bed on April 5th and 6th for a fun weekend and the lake bed is 1 mile wide and 6+ miles long with open area and great visibility to see. Think about comming out to camp or just for the day.....the bbq will be hot so bring your own meat and I will be more than happy to do the cooking for anyone that shows, and we will sit around tha camp fire and tell flying storys till dawn LOL Thanks Tim is you need info just e mail me and I will send link and maps thanks again

Finally got the video to play- Looks like its on rails pretty much...

What happened to the nose gear? Are they Pneumatic or Mechanical?

Wish I could build like you do, and fast also-

Take it easy,
james

thanks, I use mech retracts, it just didnt lock at that time.
That ruined that first flight but its not bad at all. I might use a longer horn or switch to an aux channel and set it at wider EPA with my X8103.

I managed my time to build this though I have been saying "no, im busy " to my friends. Im glad that its done now that I can go out.

His Nick name is #18, the 18th plane. #19 is waiting to get out of the box. Its first flight is due the weekend before RC Expo at Anaheim. So I can buy #20 there if I find one.

Are you going there?
Why not the Rev bros meet up there or something.

Ever since I was exposed to slope flying last year I started to not fly glows very little. With the cost of Dynamic Soaring ships....its whooping $$ I need to find funds for it

Way are the patriot engines mounted sideways? I've just mounted an MDS 58 (same size as .46, only 3% heavier, BUT .60 power) in my Patriot. Instead of sideways, I've mounted it upright. (looks ok) bit like the Magnum if you nearly close your eyes)
