Default Old plane + Used engine = new fun

I acquired a BTE Delta Vortex with a ST90 it flew OK but not enough enthusiasm.

On the shop shelf is a JETT 76 very low time and great compression..

So last night the engine mount was rotated and the Jett 76 installed, and we have snow.

This morning the throttle was set up and it is ready to fly. But there is still snow on the ground.

we haven't seen snow here in atlanta in over 2 yrs. but it has gotten too cold to fly though. I would look to heat my boots somehow up there plus they have those transmitter and hands insulated covers available on canadian websites.

I have a Vortex myself....I wonder if the smaller engine will produce more speed ?

Mine has an ASP .91....12-7 at allmost 13 grand.

Have you ever had an American Made Dub Jett Engine ????

I know my Jett 76 will out preform the Super Tiger 90.

I finally got the time to change engines.

Now I have to wait till spring to fly the Delta Vortex.

No, Crazy....I do not own a Jett...

....but a smaller engine, with more RPM, on a large plane....may, or may not equate to
more speed. Your S.T. .90 may not be propped right either.

FBD...

the ST 90 had a buch of props on it and it did live up to ST expexctations.

The Jett has proven to ME what it can do.
