90" P38 with two YS110?

Plane is from NP, and of course, two YS110 engines. Has anyone tried it or seen something comparable? Would twice the thrust give it faster top speed? Or just faster around corners?

should be a very interesting build,,, you might want to make sure you can squeeze at least a 13 or 14 inch prop between the pod and the main cockpit. ys 110 on a 14x12 is good speed,, some have used the 13x13,, apc.--- good luck.

If it survives those two over kill engines it will be very fast. It will land hot, and 13x13 props you will have to do it dead stick unless your runway is a mile long.
I don't think it will fly right on one engine, too much drag from the dead 13X13 so you may need to kill the live one and land the brick in a hurry.
Even with all that, it could still be fun
