Default Which .46 should I get?

I want to build an Ultra-Sport 40 and I am trying to get 170MPH + like everyone else on this board but I do not want to spend more than $100 bucks. What engine should I get?

Also, is a 10x6 the best prop. for the above combo?

**Coming soon!**

Which is faster on my P-51 Mustang a 2 cycle or 4 cycle?

You're funny....

Remember when World Engines had the deal yo send in any old junk motor and get a Meccoa .46 for $20? That, a full tunned pipe and 40% nitro would keep you in budget but no way will it get a US 40 to 170mph...

I suggest a Tower .75 and to keeps the R's up maybe a 8X9 APC I want to watch....

Easy, 50cc GAS.... wonder what it'd do on a 8X9APC?

is that with or without a gale force tail wind??

as for the engine, any one that can turn a 10 X 6 nearing 30,000 rpm should just about do it

LOL, thanks so much, I needed that!!!

But.....seriously......you should only need to spend $49.99 on a Supertigre GS40[sm=thumbup.gif], just enought engine to get you up real high remember the the seceret to good speed is the DIVE! to the radar gun!
Get a folding prop so that won't slow you down when you make your dive from say 1700 feet, straight down, engine off! 32 feet per second per second, terminal velocity should be about 200 MPH on a clean plane!!! If you don't get 200 MPH hack off some of the wings until the plane is clean enough!!!
Remember to include a photo of the plane and radar gun image so that everyone will believe you!!!

Razor:

The only slim chance you may have is buynig $30.00 worth of car gas, driving To Las Vegas and winning a bunch of bucks with the $70.00 left at the 21 table. If you win over $500.00 quit and go home. Only thing gonna get you even close to 170 is a Jett 60 LX, or maby a 90 VRDF which is way to large and heavy. Don't you have a Jett 35? Maby if you cut 3 bays off each wing and build it light, no landing gear etc.? Best save up a little, qit smoking, booz and girls for a couple a weeks. ENJOY

like ya said.... the muffler really wakes that puppy up. I think the TT40 will outperform it by a few rpm set up like that... but not by a great deal.

WHoa...How many of you people actually thought I was serious? SCARY.

YUKONFLYR- You are hilarious... Per second per second...Folding prop...LOL
Your response is way funnier than my actual thread-

Hey how about a new sport: "Dynamic Diving"? Sort of a free-flight/ dynamic soaring/ 175+Patriot dive at the gun thing.
