I am thinking about scratch building something in the .40 size class and was wondering if anyone out there in RCU land if anyone might have a good rib pattern for a fast plane I could use?
I would like to build a straight wing. Thank you everyone in advance.

Thank you so much chuck for the site but lol. I was more looking for a rib design that maybe I can down load or get in an e mail from someone. I know this might sound bad but I am no engineer lol. So the site had a bit more info than I could use or understand at this point in time.

I just sent 3 airfoils to you, including my personal favorite the Naca 66-012. These are quickee airfoils that should work best with a 50" wing with an approximate chord of 9 1/2" - 10". I know they work well with a 1 3/16" thick wing, but you could probably thin it a bit and still be ok.
You will have to blow up, or use what I sent as a guide to draw your own.
