Sweet!!!

What do you think, $600.00 complete, plus international shipping?

Would be cool just to touch one.

Cost is 479 Euro. At the current exchange rate that is US $634.29!!!

You have to want it pretty bad.

I want it bad, but my wallet says tough %$#@!!!!!!!!!!!

The OPS 90 bimetal engine item-# is 89005

For even higher engine power output you may go for the new 20 cc OPS .120 ducted fan engine [sm=tongue_smile.gif] (see pic below):
[ul][*] 5.5 HP[*] 24.000 rpm[*] 630 grams
[/ul]

That 20 cc ducted fan OPS engine monster will still fit .60 sized speed planes! [>:]
Appropriate carbon fiber propellers for these two new OPS engines would be something like:

9x10.5“
9x11
9x12
8.5x11
8.5x12
8.5x13
8x12
8x13
8x13.5
7.5x13
7.5x13.5
7.5x14

We cannot use larger prop diameters because of the already very high prop tip speeds approaching sonic level.

Of course a very low drag speed plane design is mandatory to efficiently make use of these 15 to 20 cc OPS “big block“ engines.

That must sound so sweet at 24k on an 8" prop and an open pipe... music to our ears.

Sigh.. I want one of those now too.

IIRC it didn't work for me either, I never got a response. Must have dried up. If the US can barely support an OPS distributor then I doubt we can. I bought some head shims and case gaskets from here as I recall: http://www.aeromarinerc.com/opsengines.htm. This was maybe last fall or so.

You might be better off just contacting an overseas dealer - rather than paying extra money for someone domestic to special order one.
