Vintage Delta Kit
I scored this old Midwest Products kit from the sixties, from a fellow club member, its called DELTA HUSTLER XD-7, Its probably something I would never build, but it is cool, for one thing they call for .19-.35 engine, but after looking at the plans, I would fly it with at least a .45 size engine, its big, another thing the airfoil is too thick it looks like about 3inches at the thickest point.
Check out the Zippers that come with it for the top hatch, never seen that before, interesting.
Heres some pics.

One of the two I built is still around. Back in the day Flew mine with a ten channel Kraft Radio. the only thing I remember bad about this model, is when the engine stopped plane whould lose altituded fast. I don't think you would have that problem with the new Radios.

ORIGINAL: combatpigg
It looks like 1/2 the wood could be left in the box, instead of having a rib every 2 inches.

The last one I flew had an OS .25 and it flew faster. I also hooked up the nose gear. While I was in the Navy I worked on two F7U -1 Chance Vaught Cutlass's They were of the first 14 built. Lost of maintence problems.
