does this qualify?

hey guys,
Would this qualify?
ive got a combat models f-16. not the rear engine scale lookin one, but the earlier slope/power front engine model. Ive also got a brand new k&b 7.5 DF engine. thats the one with the pump.

Ive put a 1/2" Cf tube in the wing for some strength, and am planning on glassing with .75 oz cloth. No retracts or anything, just a slippery plane with a rear exhaust/piped 45.
Any one out there use one of these engines on a speed plane? Ive got 3 of them, 1 of the others is going into a turbax 1 on a modified force 1.

What else should I do to the plane to get it setup?
pics soon

cheers

This brings back memories. I had one of these and ran a piped YS 45 in it. Had landing gear which slowed it down a little. Was a bunch of fun. Not a speed demon but respectable. You'll have fun with it. I did not build any special mods into it, just followed the instructions. I bought it for the short build time. Went together quickly.

Built per plans. Glassed per plans. Good luck. Looks loud. I ran a side exhaust under the wing with a longer muffled pipe, kept the RPM's down around 12K with larger props. Like I said, wasn't a streak across the sky but was fun. We had sound regulations where I was flying then.

I bought one that was started by some one else and was also curious about the finishing. I plane to mount a MVVS 45 on mine.

Let me know how yours works
