Please post video when you fly it. I'm sure it will sound pretty cool.

There used to be an old, drunken, semi-retired carpenter who would bring out one of these planes from time to time. He was the only guy I've ever seen drunk at a "club field".
Anyway, he never failed to crash it, even after he looked like he might "HAVE IT" for a lap or two. He was always ready with a trash bag, I'll give him props for that. As the years went by, his stable of Balsa USA deltas just got heavier and more "jig saw puzzled" than the year before. At least the engines always looked nice.

That's amazingly close to my memories of the Northstar.. the only examples I ever saw at the field were roughly built and insanely overweight and they'd bob across the field struggling to get airborne. I'm sure they must have, but I have no memory of one flying around the field under control. I still get nervous when I hear sentences ending in "1-1/4 lb of lead in the nose"..

the porp I have is not a tractor, it is a 11x7 p I sent the the photo to Robert at APC, with a close up of it and the numbers he confirmed it is in fact a APC pusher prop He said the poto I posted here didnt show the propre angle of the prop so it was throwing people off

Thanks Everyone for all your help we got it all cleared up

Man you like those Enforcers! Now all you need are a turbine and a pulsejet version to round out the fleet.

FLIGHTJOCKEY 08-29-2014 02:39 PM

I may try a pulse, jut I have been doing alot of research on them, the turbine is not in the budget at this time

That is a very pretty fleet you have there..!
It seems like I've seen the blue one with the yellow high lights somewhere before...?

Crazy4Flight 08-30-2014 06:25 AM

Joe first did a byro-blaster on the enforcer.
This is first turbine jet with a RAM 500

That was quite a few years ago. By the way I still have both Enforcers, although I rarely fly them any more. The DF one has over 150 flights on it and hasn't been flown in about 5 years. The Turbine one has over 250 flights on it. After about 100 flights the Ram500 crapped out and it now has a Wren54 on it. It's no longer my everyday flier, but I bring it out several times a year just to blow the dust off.

Here's a video of my 200th flight back in 2008. One of the gears didn't come down so I did a two wheeled landing in the grass

I built the Blue/.yellow enforcer in 2006/2007 it had a 91 DF motor at first with a 6" byron fan unit
after a few flight I converted it to EDF much better and way faster, see the first flight

Does anybody knows the location of the CG for the enforcer?

The CG, from the instructions, is 16-1/8 inches (16.125) from the rear fixed edge of the wing, i.e. from the hinge line, not from the trailing edge of the elevator.
The plan measures as 15-7/8 in front, putting it 1-1/2 in front of the hard wood LG blocks. Maybe my plan has shrunk a bit in the 10 years since I built it!
