Bullit?

Looks interesting. It is designed for glow. I bet a .40 with pipe would do the trick. :D

Ripping off Mr Steve McQueen and his fast-back... Only to outfit it with electric crap?

Too thick to be very fast I say...

We need another Whiplash copy!

I couldnt help but think, I should market a delta, but maybe add extra SH in the name just to be unique :)

Bob...maybe you should.

I keep threatening to get my CNC foamcutter up and running. At the price they want for that plane I just might.

Ive thought that one alot... cutting a delta is a bit tricky because of the tip/root sizes, but its otherwise a no-brainer.

Could end up sheeted foam, or just glassed/carbon/somewood

Problem is they fitted it with a slow outrunner and a folding prop. I like the plan form, though.

I was thinking glassed foam. I could vacuum bag it to keep adhesion of the glass to the foam good and smooth the surface.

Razor could be happy once again.....the planets would align......I would hit the powerball.......

RAZOR

I am supposed to get a Mach racer when my buddy orders them :D

but he is waiting on a third party jump on the band wagon [:@]

meanwhile my Jett 60LX FIRE sits on the desktop [&:]

we might see something from florida 225-250.

but me thinks composit arf could build a whip for less than 140

Kangke is supposed to be have somethink fast soon don't know if it be a delta.

BTW hows the whip I sent you?

bob

Great news!

The Whip had agreat maiden flight at the Revvers Get together, somewhere between flight #1 and the next flight attempt one of my Hitec 5645 digi's failed--- Thank goodness it happened on the ground...

I had a K&B Screamin-48 and UltraThrust muffler and it was purty fast- I have now put my Jett-50 in it and used another shaker can of custom paint ;)

Thanks again!

Good video-- I like the servo linkage covers, streamlines it a bit.

HI
I am considering the Bullit, but did anyone fit a OS 91 VF (Ducted fan) engine on it[:-]

LGM Graphix 02-01-2007 11:41 AM

RE: Bullit?

Look at the size of the bullit, an OS91VRDF would be like the old adage says "with enough power even a crowbar can fly". But I doubt it would fly very well. If you want to try to take that airframe as fast as possible, with the size, I think you'd be faster with a JETT50 or Nelson QM40 or something. It's a pretty small plane, an OS91 with pipe would be nearly doubling the weight of the plane I think. Just my opinion though.
