After 3 years of laying back and working 60 hours week i finally decieded to build a Diamond dust, It has been a while since I have flown any thing this fast, So I'm running a Webra Hiper 40 with stock exhaust till I get used to it. then going to tune it up a bit. Turning a APC 9-7.5 at 15 200 so should make some speed wheighs in at 3,25 lbs. Here is a few pics.

Looks good, you will not be disapointed I have a clipped and a regular they are a blast to fly. The bright colors will be good I always cover mine in flourescent colors on the top and black or checkers on the bottom.

Well I'm taking the dust out for maiden flight this weekend. The Webr speed 40 with the tuned pipe turning 18500 with 9-7.5. Covered tank, and servo bay shouldn't have much drag except the side exhaust.
Should out run my Tusnamie, with Webra .36 |

ORIGINAL: onewinglow The Webr speed 40 with the tuned pipe turning 18500 with 9-7.5. Covered tank, and servo bay shouldn't have much drag except the side exhaust. Are you really turning those RPMs with a Weber?? My West 50 turns a 9x7 17400 RPMs |
RE: Dimond dust.
West 50 with a 9-7 prop will run better if you set the tuned pipe shorter. 17400 rpm is the rpm a Webra 36 will run with a tuned pipe and a 9-7. The Webra speed 40 will really come alive with a tuned pipe. You are not tuning your West 50 to its full potential.
