Doppler help
 
Hi guys,

I ran the program but the results seem a bit fast to me :-) specially since I am running a 10x7 APC. The program shows 244.81 km/hr or 152 mph. Is this right?

The aircraft is a Laser Arrow with a Rossi 53 (with the black pipe)

I have seen sound files that were easier to check but the best I can tell your #.s are right. It does seem a little fast but the Rossi 53 is a strong engine. Were you in a decent or have a tailwind?

Thanks for the reply Mike. This was on a level flight with a 10 mph tail wind. I am running a 10x7. I was thinking about changing over to a 9x8 or 9x9. Which one would you go with?

The Rossi 53 is more for torque then rpm so I would start with the 9x9. That is still less load then the 10x7. The more I hear about the Rossi 53 the better it sounds.
