RE: new engine
That looks like either an original release Picco 67 fan engine or the Picco 80 that eventually replaced it. Both have the same engine casting. This one looks like it has the larger HB type carb on it so it is probably the 80. Typically the .80 was a fairly decent fan engine - based on the marine engine.

Bob
Thanks for the info, it has 67 on the case so i think it is 0.67. I got it for 75$, it could be bad, I just took a chanse on it. Comp. seems ok. do you know what can I expect from this engine |
RE: new engine
THe picco 80 says 67 on it too..... same casting.
Same goes for the Rossi 81 fan engine ...... its a .61 engine casting. |
RE: new engine
I took the engine apart and it has damaged piston and liner. someone has bent the inside while tring to take the cylinder out.
So the engine is a mess but I am thinking to use the back rotor for the MDS 10cc engine(russian version) you think it will help. it is a direct bolt on. How can I balance the new crank and piston |
RE: new engine
Id not have any clue on how to make that conversion.... never mixed/matched engine parts like that.

RE: new engine
dont do the conversion, go find a new sleeve and piston, you will be much happier with the results.
