What plane?

I want to start a project on my new CNC. Wanted to know what everyone would be interested as far as a plane.
Something molded or buildup. All opinions are welcome.

RE: What plane?

I'd be interested in owning a CNC router table more than another airplane.

I built mine form scratch. I made several revs before I got it to work right. current one will mill alu. and MDF.

Here is my idea. I was thinking about making a molded fuselage that uses a Q500 wing. I really enjoy how Q500's fly but hate the looks, so I was trying to copy the dimensions and make a decent looking plane. Its slightly bulkier then a q500 but I think should be more streamlined.

Here are the formers, keep in mind the width and height up until the cockpit is about the same as a Q500. I think it would be a fun sport plane with any .40-.46 engine.

That looks very good, what do you think about the engine.. side mounted with muf/pipe on the bottom or vertical.

RE: What plane?

I set it up for side mounted with the muffler clearing the bottom of the fuse.

What if you did it with say a JETT FIRE engine with a rear exhaust. Might be able to keep it all contained that way. Hide the cylinder head too!
