RE: Eliminator props
I wonder how that 9x7 would work with the OS .46ax and a quickie...
Not sure I want to spend $18 to find out its no faster than an APC 10x7 |
RE: Eliminator props
He takes oldie but goody prop designs and makes carbon duplicates. He covers every common model engine size from .049 on up and several different applications. He is performing a very valuable service to some of us and I appreciate that fact. When you add up all his costs, he's not getting rich off of anyone.
I hope he is successful. When it comes to Extreme Speed, getting the right prop is just as important as the plane and the engine. There are examples where APC is just as good, but Steve's props can expand your possibilities. It was his P-2 prop I did 200 with after trying every prop APC had to offer. As a matter of fact, APC does not offer any appropriate props for very many full wave piped, high timed set ups. |

Awesome, I hope he does well too, I have to order some from him shortly.

RE: Eliminator props
There are a number of candidates for the 6.5-7.5cc DF engine crowd, as well as for hot .15-.21 engines.
I have some 4.25 props in 4.5 - 5.5 pitch to try out on the Profi. I bought a couple of the .010 props but they are tough to balance well with the wee hole. Nice idea, but the Cox black props are easy to get these days. MJD |
