Default P-20 pipe install question...

Trying to get back on a project.... The manual has no reference to space between turbine
exhaust and bell mouth on pipe regarding the P-20. The manual does for the rest of the JetCat line
of turbines so i suppose they intend for the P-20 to be the same ????? BUT how important is the
spacing? What i'm really looking at is moving the turbine around a little on the rails to achieve CG
with out adding any weigh front or back. Shifting the engine an inch to the back free's up a fair
amount of weight from the nose but it makes the pipe stick out the nacelle a little farther than
i really was hoping to be. Any thoughts............. Will try to add pic's but we all know how
RCU does or does not cooperate..

Thanks, Arnold

Arnold

Looking at your picture, if you have 1/4" - 3/8" between the back of the tail cone on the turbine and start of your tail pipe cone that should be fine

Kinda off topic but I bet you could loose some weight if you used rare earth magnets on those hatches verses those mechanical latches.

Hey Andy, Do you really think the magnets would be a good application on the engine hatches. Those mechanical ones
i'm working on are really getting to be a PITA.
