Jack Devine GB R2- Need assistance!
Hi all,
I have a Jack Devine Gee Bee R2 kit and have a problem. The kit was given to me and had 1/2 of a left wing, the broken piece missing, and the Horizontal stab/elevator was missing. I've been in contact with Jack since last fall and he stated that he could help me out with what I needed, but I haven't heard from him since January and no return of my calls or emails, I hope he is all right. I think I can get a wing made by copying my good right one. My biggest problem is I have nothing to go by as far as the horizontzl stab goes. If anybody has one of these kits/planes could you please get a tarcing of the rear stab/elevator to me. I would also need the thickness of the stab. I of course will pay for any postage to get the tracing to me.

Good luck with your quest to get help from Jack Devine. I'm still waiting for Jack to send me my paid for, Laird Solution from 2004. There's a group of others who are also still waiting for Mr. Integrity to get back to them. Jack rarely does what he promises,especially after he has your money. This is a great hobby unfortunately there are a few Jack Devines out there who spoil things for the rest of us. I'm afraid that your best chance to get what you need is right here on RCU. It's a good resource for stuff like this and hopefully someone will come forward.
