new to site. a question I have is how many freqences are there for the super mono? if binding is were the frequence is set then you need to make sure your transmitters are different if you want to run more than one boat?. And how do you tell when you order online? I haven't bought one yet. Help me out anybody!

They come with a 2.4g radio so there is no need to worry about frequencies, You can run as many boats as you like without changing anything.

Considering buying one of these. Many questions. Is lubing the drive a hassle(manual says 2 to 3 runs). If the motor is perfectly aligned with the shaft why would you need a flex shaft? What about putting a small spoiler on the front cowl to make it pop out of the water instead of submarining? Should I be looking at any other boats in this size before I buy. I like this boat because you can get all the parts on Amazon. If I get one I will definitely get one without charger so I can have my choice of charger and be able to plug into the 110 or hook it up to my truck battery. This is so great to have all of you out there to answer question and thank you RC Universe.

They use a flex because the prop is not in a straight line with the motor, there is a bend.

I am really having some difficulty using this site. Quess I'll learn. My thought was to shim the motor to align it with the shaft but I have only seen pictures of the boat, not handle one. It really seems like the boat for me, but my creative mind won't wait till I get one to solve issues. Like if you put small tabs (hydrafoils) maybe 3/16"x3/4" on the gunnel line near the bow, angled up at maybe 3 degrees would it prevent submarineing as long as the boat is right side up? Thank you for the reply Capt.

Try a Hobbyking Turnigy 2836-3700kv (700watt) runs on 3-4S batteries on a 35A ESC.
I am running one on an outboard with a 32mm x 1.4 pitch prop, only on 3S(2650mah)(41070rpm).
The boat is about the same size around 600mm(24 inches).
It's insanely fast and with your boat setup with water cooling the motor mount the motor would be very reliable.
Timing I set all mine on the highest with start power 10%
I get a nice controlled start off speed and to cruise back to the landing jetty..
Reverse 25%.
