I bought the Aurora 9 this past spring and I love it. I have been following this page for up dates but I am not sure what I am looking at. For example, the latest has entries in red also some in bold black, are these the changes or updates? I have the HPP-22 to add up dates, I am not sure how to do it. A little help please.

Sorry for delayed response, my original reply seems to have disappeared into the ether..
The highlighted or coloured text is simply to draw attention to that topic.
There is no way of knowing what has been changed without reading all posts as
this technology is fluid and am constantly updating various entries within each link..
(Both this and my other web pages are maintained in my own time and at own expense - not enough hours in the day

Travel Limit is a hard stop point so mixes can not overthrow % set in T.Limit and bind up a servo.

(to minimise damage if left on to long at any time) = 19-20 hours for first full charge - please read the further details.

- keep either the D/R or EPA setting at 125% or less and the other at 120% or less < Corrected V1.08 - refer T.Limit below>.
Aurora 9 - EPA & T.Limit (added V1.08) - Difference & Use. Mixes can overthrow EPA% setting.
Travel Limit is a hard stop point so mixes can not overthrow % set in T.Limit and bind up a servo.

"S" is for single so as to make the setting unique to the condition.

1. I have a new Aurora 9X and was a little disgruntled when I discovered no hard copy manual. I printed out in booklet form on an HP Office Jet 8600+ which ended up as 32 pages. I then took the pages down to Office Depot and for less than $5 had the pages converted into a very readable booklet. The result is just slightly smaller than the Aurora 9 manuals. Hats off to Office Depot for doing such a nice job. I am sure Office Depot can go from CD to nice manual also.

2. My Problem I installed A Minima 6E in a Walkera QR X350 quad copter. Per the Quad manual the channels used in order Elev; Aile; Thro; Rudd; Gear; Aux1 = 1 - 6.
These are supposed to be connected to J2; J1; J3; J4; C; B; which they are according to the Channel Function page. I now need to set the levels for the two switches C=On, Mid, Off and B = On, Off. Switch handles from forward to backward. I am having trouble finding the information to accomplish this.

3 Special note on the Walkera quad. On the 6 supplied cables that connect from the Receiver to the Walkera Main Controller only one had a center wire. I measured the
main controller And the voltage was bussed across all 6 channels and the power input ( As is common practice. ) I changed the ch 6 ( Aux1 ) cable to a 3 wire so their was
a redundant voltage connection to the receiver even though the current drain was low due to no servos.

I use a switch to kill my engine but I only want the switch to be active at low throttle. How can I set this up so that it won't kill the engine when flying.

I am looking for a receiver compatible with my Aurora 9 TX, for a 200 size quad build, that will work with the Kombini Furious FPV Flight Controller Board. I am clueless on what will work with what for this build. I plan on doing Acro and FPV flying with this build.

Dear members:
I´m trying to solve a programming issue with an aurora 9x TX and an Optima 7 receiver.
The plane in wich I´m making the instalation requires two elevator servos. One is plugged at channel 2 ant the other one is plugged in the channel 5 slot. I use the p.mixes and determine the master and the slave channel, but after that, i dont have any idea in what i have to do next in order to make this mix works.
Is there any explanation for dummies like me, you can recommend?

You're overcomplicating it. Get rid of all P.Mixes you have for the Elevator servos. Navigate to the Channel menu in System, select the 5th channel and set the function to Elevator (I.E. if it says AUX1, tap on AUX1 and then tap on SEL. in the bottom right, then select ELEV, then tap SET in the bottom right). From here on out Channel 5 will always act as an Elevator channel and will be controlled the same as Channel 2, regardless of what trim tab settings you input, or what D/R or EXPO settings you set. You can set sub-trim independently in the SUBTRIM menu as well as end points in the EPA menu to ensure both elevator servos are matched at the centers and the end points.
