I have searched until I am blue and can not find a thread on this. Although, I remember seeing one. I have found setting changes in my prefrences that have been changed without my input.

1. In prefrences, I have been receiving the dynamic menus until the setting got changed. I did not do this and wonder how it may have changed.

2. I used to be returned to the thread I was reading when I posted a reply. I am now being returned to the forum list. I did not change anything nor can I find any setting to stop this. Can this be fixed?....and how?

Number 2 is more important to me that #1 since I did reset my dynamic menu option.

Answers:

1) We set everyones to OFF by default for speed. You can re-enable them by going to MyAccount or clicking the Speed option link at the top of the forum and turn them on again. This was a one time event since many users won't know how to turn them off and slower computers or dial ups were getting slow load times

2) When you post in the quick reply box at the botto of the page you must uncheck the "Go back to forum page after posting" on the right if you want to be returned to the thread. This is on by default but will be a user preference. If using the popup replies you always will return to the thread right now. Only the quick reply box has the option to go back to the forum.

Try going into the 'Problems, Questions Using RC Universe' forum. It is probably in there. Basically what you are seeing are running changes to the features on the site to satisfy the majority.

There are numerous threads in that forum for this type of thing.
