Grab a copy of Fly RC and be prepared to get a good laff. Read thru a "review" - I use the term lightly - their reviews are more like blurbs. But here's the good part - find that exact item in an ad like a full page ad in their magazine and others. Many times you'll see the same exact wording in the "review" as used in the ad. The same adjectives applied to the same nouns etc... Seriously.

Read em with a bit(a lot) of skepticism. Those guys are in the business of selling magazines. And SELL them they will. I for one am thankful that I have RCU to turn to to get the broader picture of what's what. The model rags make nice reading in the cr****r. And when you are done, you can use em to wipe your a** with cause that's about all youll get out of em anyway.

Ok , I think this site is #1 for honesty but some mags deserve some credit

RCM seems to be the only one that siad HP p51 had gear problems. NO other mag did .
Model airplane new is garbage , Backyard flyer is not worth the paper it si printed on

Flying models is good for small and free flight .They were a;awys tru to there customer .
