Well how about that..... You claimed in another posting that "nothing better than the mip 4 in 1" (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=2418570 ) but you don't even have one....
Don't expect me or others not to get irritated with all of the USELESS posts that seem to populate this forum more than any of the others.... I mean, there you were, making posts saying something is great, why..... because you heard this somewhere? You don't even know cuz you HAVEN'T RUN ONE!! If you don't have directexperience in an area, resist the urge to start typing. When people want answers they want experiences, not what someone heard or what they think.

...but enough bickering. I don't want this thread to turn into another useless waste of space like so many that you (and others) are involved in... let's keep it topical or keep it to ourselves. PLEASE, I'm being serious.

Talk about drumming up an old thread!
Been running my RC10GT on an asfault oval parking lot with a OS 18crvx and the torque that the 18cvr puts out actually overpowers the MIP 4in1 clutch.
I've been having alot of bearing problems and extreme heat problems with my clutch bell with extreme discoloration. Distroyed 3 front CB bearings in a short amount of time which I believe is heat related.
Cause of Frost's and others recommendation I just bought and installed the SSRC clutch and think it is awesome!
So far, the clutch gets hot, but, not at all as hot as when using a composite clutch. No CB discoloration so far and no failed bearings! The SSRC clutch performs great, less slipping all around.
Thanks Frost and everyone that recommended the SSRC clutch! I highly recommend this upgrade as well.

Can anyone recommend a good flywheel for and RC10GT??
I just won an RC10GT off Ebay and it had the wrong engine, flywheel, clutch and clutch bell on it.
Should I stick with the original flywheel or I was thinking of getting this one [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXESB3&P=7]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXESB3&P=7[/link]
Any info would be appreciated.

What happened to this thread???
I bin running my RC10GT with a round side exhaust .15 Picco engine and it really moves out. There is no problem pulling wheelies with this engine installed. I had this engine lying around for a long time because I had nothing it would fit in with the round side exhaust configuration. It is an odd setup that I haven’t seen in any other cars or trucks.
Excellent advice on the clutch shoes, I will be getting them soon. I am running a Losi flywheel and clutch setup that seems to grab hard and does not slip at all, but if I go to the OS .18 CV-r (that came in this truck when I won it off Ebay) I think I will need the aluminum clutch shoes to handle the power of that engine.
Anyway wanted to keep this thread alive so here is some pictures of my GT.

Nice GT!
With an .18, I would look into getting the aluminum tranny brace. With all that torque, I would do everything I could to keep things from moving and twisting.
