Default DuraTrax Firehammer

Anyone have it yet, or thinking of getting it?
I was comparing the detailed pics and exploded views to my FG Marder, and it's the same rig.
Only a few differences - some of plastic (arms) is shaped a bit different, there are threaded shocks on the Firehammer, and the engine mount holes are countersunk on the Firehammer vs flush on the Marder.
Given that, it's a super deal at $900 RTR with a basic FM and failsafe (Tower), and parts are dirt cheap.
I might have to get one to compare side by side.

just curious, why did you post something about the duratrax giant buggy in a MONSTER TRUCK forum? I think it might be a good buggy, never had experience with it, I just build my giant scalers.

Chill out brother...it's not a crime. I'm mostly into MTs, and didn't even think to post elsewhere. Seems like a natural progression from MTs to "giant scale".

its fine, no offense or anything man, i was just saying that its a totally different world. I really enjoy building giant scale cars from scratch, with some go-kart parts, big engines, etc. Fun stuff. If it is similar/same to the fg marder, i would say it must be a pretty good buggy for the money.
