Obviously not the way I did it. My Michel Binder fraud thread has been deleted pending further investigation. My advice would be to contact a moderator and run the thread past him before posting it.

i too have had 2 threads deleted in the last week. it wouldnt hurt if a mod is going to kill a thread that he pm the thread starter informing him of why. as too this thread concerning fraud with a user here on rcu, i posted on the now deleted thread that i had dealt with this guy in question and had even met him once. i stated that maybe i can help, however with the killing of the thread the helpful info was killed as well. isnt the reason for rcu is to assist fellow modelors while making a profit at the same time. so anyway, if i can help track down the guy in kansas let me know. hopefully it is a misunderstanding or an overstatement of promises. pm if i can help, barry

All RCU needs to do to keep in the clear is post a disclaimer notice saying:-

Perhaps you can examine the blocked Email, if it is available and still on your server's site. My ISP keeps blocked Email, even with blocked viruses, on the record for 30 days.

Lying to me about the delivery of that undercarriage? Not contacting me once to let me know the status of the parts (Always relying on me to contact you)? Then in the last few months stop replying to my emails all together!

I am in this business and if I am over 21 days late to deliver goods that have been paid for the customer is entitled to contact their credit card company and speak to !QUOT!THE FRAUD DEPT!QUOT! You are so late that they would have to make !QUOT! A SERIOUS FRAUD DEPT!QUOT! to cover your actions.

Here are the facts for for this case, and everybody schould read it.
1. I was answering to all of your mails
2. I told you about the delay in retracts production
3. The price $ is wrong, you bought it as a dealer
4. I offerd you at Top Gun to pay back the amount if you dont want to wait longer
5. you never have send the details
6. You forgot to tell here that it is a B to B bussines and the place here is B to C
7. I really dont like your style to use the thread here
8. If thats the really you i am not longer interested to be a Skymaster Dealer who have to purchase from you
9. Where are all the answers which i am waiting for about Skymaster since last year
10. How about your quality of service with Skymaster
If you use it B to B lets do it.

My last email must have been a give away when I said to you I have received no responses to my emails, and if I did not get a suitable response soon I would pursue other avenues of getting your attention. In fact people here on Rcu are doing complete build threads for many months now. You even had the front to tell me at Florida Jets 16 weeks ago that my retracts would be with me within two weeks. I have a witness for this.. Don't insult me with your excuses.
Funny I don't remember you offering to pay me back at Top Gun. Even if you did what is the use of you refunding me? I would have still had to have source a specific undercarriage for a specific plane. (Not like going and buying a retract set off the shelf for a Kangaroo is it? The only time refund was mentioned was when I wrote you a mail to say that if you did not have the retracts to me in the time scale you promised that you were to refund the full amount of money to my account for the plane and the retracts, and then arrange for a courier to collect the model from my address. Funny there was no response to that email.

Back to the original post. Market fraud complaints can be filed using the form located at the bottom of the Ratings & Security page in the marketplace.
The thread between Ali and learjet-RCU was removed because the public forums are not to be used as an open battle ground in market disputes. We tried this in the past and the results were terrible. Nearly every post turned into a verbal fight ending up with far more people involved in the arguement than were involved in the actual transaction.
We have tools in the marketplace for disagreements such as this. We have the ratings system where buyers and sellers can post their experience with other members as long as they have a documented transaction in the marketplace. We also have the fraud complaint form, as noted above, which is to be used in the rare event there is a serious disagreement which one or both parties feel cannot be resolved without a formal written complaint being filed.
If the problem happened off-site, RCUniverse is not the proper place to start a flame war.

no email blocking from rcu on my account. i get plenty, just nothing when my thread is deleted, barry. also, ali and the other guy may have had a disagreement, but when it is out and out fraud, in my opinion, the best place to notify others in the related forum. that is where people hang out and gather info. i do understand this is a delicate issue, but if i were straight up cheated and my option is give him a bad rating and go to a for sale mod, than that does not warn others, they are unaware and not looking into a mod dispute forum, they instead, are in an interest related forum where the news could be put out faster and prevent the next guy from getting burned.

Barry, the moderator who removed your post should have sent you a notice. I apologize for that.
Every situation like this is reviewed and handled in the best means possible. You will notice that some fraud discussions are left alone, but in those instances, it is because whomever has been reported in the post has also been identified by our staff as someone who would like nothing better than to defraud each and every one of our members. If someone were to post a message say "so and so has great feedback but he just ripped me off", we're going to remove it because so and so doesn't need to be bashed over something that he is most likely already trying to resolve.
Actually, you posting a negative rating on another member does warn others. That's exactly what the purpose of the rating system is for and is public for everyone to see. I am not aware of anyone who does not review market feedback before posting or accepting an offer. If there is a negative mark on someones history, everyone who looks at their feedback will be warned. Also, when a formal complaint is filed against a member, a big nasty red warning is posted in every ad they place until the complaint is resolved. Again, a warning to other members that something is going on they need to be cautious about.
The forums are for discussing the hobby. They are not for discussing other members performance in the marketplace. That is what the rating system is for.

YEP GOT SCREWED TO....BUT I WAS A GENTLEMAN...I DIDN'T TELL EVERYBODY THE NAME OF THE GUY WHO POKED ME......I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YA ABOUT REPORTING IT...IT FELL ON KINDA DEAF EARS...THE MODERATER WAS REAL NICE ABOUT IT THOUGH.......ITS UP TO RCU WHO GET TO STAY ON OR NOT....THEY WILL PROBABLY KICK ME OFF ONE DAY JUST FOR GRIPING,AND KEEP THE POKERS
