Default Tuning help

I have an RC10GT with a Dynamite .12spd non pull start engine. The engine has about 1/2 a gallon ran through it. I have not really messed with any of the needle settings because it always starts and runs for the whole tank. Now that I am getting more comfortable with the car/engine I would like to try and get some more performance out of it. It seems that the LSN is off some but I am not sure which way. When I punch the throttle the car hesitates for a second and then takes off. There is plenty of smoke and the car hauls tail during high speed runs. Seem to be slow on take off though. What would you guys recommend? P.S. This engine has been great, always starts right up.
Thanks

Hi!
If it hesitates ..it is either too lean or too rich on the idle needle

This hesitation is diffrent though depending if it's too lean or too rich.
You must listen to how the engine sounds...this is how all engines are set...by ear!!!

If it hesitates and sputters lots of fuel through the silencer/pipe..the idle needle is set too rich and has to be screwed in some...if on the other hand the hessitation sounds oompf...and the engine nearly stops...then the idle needle is set too lean and must be opened some.
