Todd,

I have just got an A10-X package and am very pleased with the kit. I got it from X-Treme Jets as they are doing a package that is great value.

Do you still have the instructions and radio tray template available?

I would be eternally grateful if you could email them to me!

Several asking for the component layout and manual. I do NOT have a manual, most of the info has been covered here. I am attaching the component layout and some install shots for those that would like a copy.

Sorry Todd if I caused you any unwanted attention when I asked for the information [&o]

By the way in case anybody is interested, Sandor (of Digitech fame) has a manual for the Fei Bao EasyJet which is remarkably similar to the A-10X.

http://www.digitech-turbines.com/manual.htm

I hope Sandor does not mind me posting the link, but there are plenty of interesting items for sale at his shop including a very handy and cheap air trap tank
and of course his excellent Jet-1A landing gear

Greg,

How's that center section? Was it finally beefed up? I remember that being the weakest link on an other wise fantastic little airplane.

Raf,

No beefing up on the centre section, no reinforcement of any kind.

Here are few pictures.

Fun, as long as it is balanced on the wing tube with the wings attached, you will be fine. If using a UAT, I personally like to balance with that full of fuel and the main tank/s empty.

Good luck, it will be a breeze!

If the A-10x hasn't changed much in wing placement etc...the balance point was at 100mm from the root leading edge. And I do believe that was on the wing tube!

I flew the living daylights out of mine and I just sold it. [&:] It flys great, itsa floater so crow might help that, and the elevator has alot of authority (I always like it this way than the other way around!) so make sure you have a "timid" setting. I was able to snap it out of tight loops. It recovered fast, so don't be worried, just a heads up!

Don't forget to beef up that center section. Unless it was changed, even the softest landings cracked all the wood in the mains. Even if you managed not to crack up the wood with a soft touch down, just hitting the brakes would do it.

Wow, those A-10x's look great!

Raf,

The centre (Wing) section has been beefed up on the X-treme A-10X compared to the pictures posted of Todd's and Sandor's A-10X.

As you can see from the pictures below it causes a bit of a problem with the routing of the retract airline (piston extend nipple) as I will
have to route out a channel for the lines/nipple! I have also added a bit of Hysol as added insurance.

Hello guys,

I would like to buy the easyjet (A10) from DIGITECH with the retracts combo.
I have a Jetcat P60.
You say it is necessary to beef up the center section ?

Does the new version of the easyjet (sold by Digitech) has more strong center wing in order to resit to normal touch down ???

Thanks
JeanFi :-)

You don`t have to beef up the center section, it is strong enough,
especially when you use the Jet 1A struts.

eMail on the way,
Christian

Hi All,

I am currently building an A10-X and have a question regarding the wing centre section. Are you gluing this to the fuselage for added security or is the wing dowel / wing bolt mountings strong enough.

Thanks for your help.

Paul.

I put over 100 flights on mine. She taught me how to fly turbines. You'll love it.
