Please welcome a new boat forums Moderator
Many of you already know him but for those that don't, Justaddwata is now the newest Mod here in the boat forums.
Yes, you're still stuck with me but piper_chuck stepped down as his job and a new bundle of joy at home are now taking up a lot of his time.
Give him time to learn the ropes in here and any of your questions or problems in these forums can be directed to him also.
Matt is well-known and a respected member mostly in the gas boat forum and I'm proud to know that we will be working together to help make this site a better experience for all.

Many thanks for the intro Ron. Looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead
While I have spent most of my time in the Gas boat forum I have visited all the other boating forums over the years (before and during membership). I do own a few rc sailboats, electrics and even a nitro or two. I just dont have (what I consider) enough experience to give much advice there.
I work in the marine industry (ironic that Ron said - "time to learn the ropes in here") mostly as a consultant with exotic ropes, cordage, and textiles.
My pride and joy are the gas boats and boat projects I have that I hope to get running now the lake is again liquid.
Please do not hesitate to give me a shout if ever I can be of assistance.
As I am sure you are all aware - moderators cannot be everywhere all the time. If something may need some attention hit the report button and it will narrow down the search.

Does this mean you have to give up your collection of boats so you have time to moderate? Can I call shotgun on any of them????

Congrats JAW, and Good Luck. You’ll need it. Watch out for those Airboater’s, especially the ones from the UK.(Urban Kentucky)
