Futaba 9CAP + Spektrum or FAAST
Are there modules available for the 9CAP? Either Spektrum of FAAST.
If there is are there small Rx to be had that will fit in a 1/8 scale buggy?

The 7 Channel Faast is now out for the Futaba 9C & Super, the 8 Channel I guess come out the end of September, I don't know bout it being compatible with you buggie. You might wanna call Futaba and ask. I think there for airplane systems only.

Because you asked about Spektrum....
Not sure if those are out yet, but they will be limited to 8 channels on a 9CAP as the module requires that the tx be in the PPM mode where the 9th channel on your radio is only an off/on and limited to PCM mode.

Sorry for using another company's name in a Futaba forum. It was a general question about 2.4GHz.
I saw the 7 and 8 ch modules on Towerhobbies. The receiver size looks OK but the price is way high to go with this option. I will probably pick up a 3PK with FAAST instead.

The 7 channel futaba are out in limited numbers...
tower sold out..
I got one from Ebay..
I plan to do very extensive testing... I wan't to use it in my new high power EDF's and a gaint electric 3d plane
but I won't risk a plane with out flying it in cheap stuff first
I'll let you guys know how it goes...
it shipped today should have it next week .. I'm going to put it in my brushless stryker first
then move up to glow planes
