Default SLOT OPEN AT TOP GUN FOR PRO-AM?

If anyone is interested, there may be 3 slots open in the Pro-Am classes at Top Gun, April 23-27.
The slots can be in the Pro side or the Sport side. There is NO builder of the model rule in Pro-Am, but the model must have a legitimate color scheme.
We will know for sure by Tuesday, April 8th if there are slots available.
IF anyone is qualified, meaning that they have a good looking aircraft and can fly in competition, please email me directly at [email protected].
I will converse with you on a one on one level. The $75 entry fee would be waived if you were to take place of someone who has cancelled at the last minute.
I cannot answer emails that come thru RCU, sorry.

Thanks,
Frank

FWIW, if the e-mail address you provided RCU when you first registered is the same as what you have in your post, then the e-mails will get to you at the same e-mail address. The only difference would be that one would be sent to you through RCU with your e-mail address hidden from the sender. What difference does it make if the e-mails get to you through RCU unless if you are not too pleased with RCU?

I think the obvious guess would be because he might not monitor RCU 24/7...
Just guessin', though!

You do not have to monitor RCU to get/read e-mails. It comes to your e-mail address just like if it was sent to you by anybody on www. There is a big difference between e-mails and PM.

I didn't read in the above post where Mr. T said RCU is bad. Maybe those who can't read and follow simple instructions aren't worthy. The man layed out his terms, why even care (rhetorical question).

Regrads,
Bart

He said he can't ANSWER the emails through RCU. So obviously he wants to respond directly to the person. Plus the address may not be the same one used for RCU.

There is a big difference between what you quoted and what was written: "I cannot answer emails that come thru RCU "

The statement if it is not a dig on RCU is mute because if you click on the address in the post, you can send an e-mail to him and AFAIC it originated from RCU. Do you get my point?

The post would have conveyed the intended message without the last sentence.

Yes I get your point . I also didn't "quote" him and as far as being mute (moot), all the posts after post #1 are moot.

Mark

First off, thanks for the mute point correction. I’m still attending night school and hope to get my GED soon. (lol and pun intended)

As far as your other point goes, you are 100% entitled to it. I’m also 100% entitled to my statements so let’s move on.

For crying out loud, even a simple statement has to be turned into some kind of ordeal?
For those who really want to know, I run a business, a fairly large one actually, and sometimes just don't have time to moniter RCU, or do the "click here and click there" thing,
so I foolishly thought it might save me some time to just have serious people respond to my business email. How inconsiderate and selfish of me!
And, I guess I was ignorant a well, since I didn't realize that emails directed to RCU would automatically come to my email address. So,I am so sorry for any confusion I may have created.
Frank
