K-BAR setup problem

I have a Futaba 7C radio and a R617FS receiver that I am trying to set up. Everything sets up fine except on the transmitter page I get no throttle movement on the bar. Collective is fine. There are no mixes set up. Esc is plugged into ch3 on the receiver. Videos I have watched show throttle bar movement at this point.
Any ideas?
