Can people in the US order the v6 from PW-RC? The FMS version is PNP while the Airfiled model is either RTF or ARF. Plus the FMS model has the retractible tail wheel.

Yes, you can! That's where my model came from and Philip has an excellent customer service!

I would e-mail him and let him know what you are looking for and I usually pay via PAY PAL and he will send you an invoice assuming you supply him with the E-Mail associated with your PAY PAL account.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. I really like the looks of this P-51 but I don't know anything about electric equipment and what's all required. If you would be so kind, I'd becurious to see a list of recommended items that an ownershould have on hand. I read most fo this thread and all the battery talk gets my eyes glossed over. The thing I like about glow is it's pretty darn simple for us idiots. Buy a motor and put some fuel in it. So, I guess what I'm asking is,if I were to buy the FMS version6, what would I need to be able to take it to the field and enjoy a couple hours worth of flying? Also, what's a good affordable 2.4ghz radio system for this bird? I have a 80" glow Spitfire and I'd like asystem that'll work for both.

Is this a good start:

2 x Blue Lipo 2200mAh 4S1P 14.8v 20C Battery
Thunder AC6 Smart Balance LiPo/Nimh Charger/Discharger w/ AC Adapter for 1-6 Lipo/ 1-15 Nimh w/ USB to PC Software

I am not going to be able to help you with the 2.4G Radio System because I have had just too many issues with these radios and I don't want to place any bias to you with respect to one brand over the other, sorry. I would say that if you are already a Glow RC Flyer then, look to see if your existing equipment will work for this model.

I do not have the Version #6 model ( it really depends on which Distributor you got your model, most especially from a USA or overseas) and my model came from directly from CHINA (PW-RC) so, I don't want to confuse you and myself with the different Versions as I just don't keep up with all of them. All I can do is perhaps list what I have done for my particular model and nothing more.....so here goes.....

The version 6 model is the FMS version (I think U have v3) what PW-RC is offering right now. It has flaps and the new tail wheel retract and a redesigned prop.

I'm not concerned yet with Mods, except for structural and safety. Mainlywhat batteries, chargers, etc. and other basic equipment I should get in order to fly the aircraft. Nota big deal if youdon't want to get into that, Not really your job to instruct me on the basics of electrics.

Well guys,

She has hung for enough time and I am planning on taking her down hanging from the Ceiling soon!

I would need to replace one of the servos on Mechanical Retract (one Side) and replace servo on one flap!

Soon, very soon!
