PZ micro P-40 in high wind
I have both a PZ micro T-28 and now a P-40; and I try to fly them both in too much wind for this type of plane. The T-28 flies fine; the P-40; acts like the controls are overly sensitive. I though maybe I was on high rate so I switched the rate switch; didn't seem to make much difference if any.
- Same transmitter (DX6i)
- Same day/wind
- Same pilot!
- Same BATTERY in the airplane!!!
- No changes to any settings, ie no hi/lo rates, no d/r, no expo nothing changed
The T-28 does not have AS3X, and the P-40 does. Has anyone experienced this, that AS3X actually works against you in wind?
For my next attempt I'll probably try to turn it off.
Oh, yes, I did try the P-40 in light wind. It flew fine.
Regards
