Ok got my 4.8 volt 400 from Graupner this is definetly the hottest wind brushed motor 22.000rpm at 4.8 volt hotter than the Rocket 400. it could be used as a hop up on a LIGHT plane mabey the micro jet,you could go with higher mah cells and less of a cell count or just less cells for less weght . mabey geared to let it spin at a sweeter RPM Testing will continue.......

Well I was running the permax 400 2/1 geared on a wing with eight 2/3 a 1100s. about17 amps im guessing 5min flight times. tommarow i am going to put the graupner 4.8volt 400 in it, as the 6. somthing, did not even get warm though my batteries were quite toasty.mabey 100 watts tops. I must admit i can only get so excited with a hot 400 gear set up as i fly 400 watt cobalts in my other wings. Mike B.

CHECK OUT THE QRP Hyper 400 Motors. These are the hottest brushed 400's I know about.

http://www.aircraft-world.com Click on Products - Motors - page two - Motors 400 specs and prices. (EG: $9.80 US)
BTW Aircraft-world have a $2.50 US shipping charge, Airmail, Worldwide, for all orders up to I lb (455 gm)

Cheers. Patrick. [8D]
