Show us your foamy paint job!
Was at Ezone and was amazed at the talent of some of the pilots that painted thier planes with just a spray can!
So show your foamy paint job with an airbrush or not.
There is some real talent out there!

Don't post that link to onlyrc.com over at RCGroups or you might get in trouble. You see there's a picture of Bart Simpson "mooning" on one of the planes. I had an avatar of Bart throwing a moon on RCGs and they complained about it until I'm now banned from using RCGs. And here I thought it was 2005.

That's it, that's the one. First a Mr? Mark Wood of RCGs complained that it was "indecent". Then some bimbo PMed me saying the same thing and threatening me that I would be barred If I insisted on keeping it. So0 now I'm banned.

Just to take this further off topic:
I gather from that statement that you continued to use the image, and got what was promised. So what's the problem? You probably kept touching the stove top as a kid even after you were warned too.

Papakeith, it's really not that offensive. Anyone who's EVER watched the Simpsons would agree that the image is perfectly in line with Bart's character, and the Simpsons is on a 6pm over here, and was recently voted(by the public) the best cartoon TV show ever, so there must be a good following of people who are willing to accept it, kids adults and other.

First a picture of my foamy
McFlyboy, The question isn't whether or not it is offensive to me (it's not), I had an RC car back in either 90 or 91 that had bart emblazoned on the body pannels. The question is why after being informed of the rules of a particular privately owned site did he continue down a path when he knew what the end result would be. Better to pick your battles carefully I'd say.

Nice flag dude,
I can understand that, but the reason he was given to take it down was that it was offensive, and now there's an entire thread on a company which uses the same design?
I aint startin a war, and I truly love onlyrc's designs, but I can defo see why GWR feels hard done by.
This is from the same guy as the Extra

RE: Show us your foamy paint job!
thanks for the kind words. It's my first paint job on foam.
The designs at onlyrc are truely works of art. Are they all airbrushed?
No, no war starting. At least I hope not I enjoy a good debate.
I too can see why he's upset. But, I also recognise that he put himself in the position he finds himself in. Apparently, he was asked to remove the avatar, and was given a heads up as to the probable response from them for his non-compliance. Like it or not it's their board, their rules. He stood his ground, and got what was promised. Now he's acting the part of the jilted lover. Looking for any oportuninty to profess how he was wronged by the site admin at such n such forum. This thread was supposed to be about paint jobs on foamys, and he managed to wedge himself in here.

RE: Show us your foamy paint job!
maybe not, just got a message saying 'this thread does not accept new reply'?
Anyways, we're back on track now. Sorry y'all, I'll behave
The onlyrc planes are airbrushed, and just watching the process on the threads is breathtaking, some people out there have some real talent.
The pics I posted are all spray cans, but aren't they gorgeous?
If I ever get round to finishing my mini 3dx I'll put a pic up here.
