i have been studying others Formosa setups and can't seem to decide what to get. the most popular setups seem to be the Himax 2025 with the 6.6:1 gearbox or that Axi 2212/26 direct drive. one setup i liked was just replacing the stock motor with an Eflight brushless 400.

things change so quickly that hot setups last year are outdated. so...... to those on the cutting edge of technology. what would you stick in your formosa for excellent F3A flying with positive vertical acceleration. i haven't bought anything yet so i'm not restricted by having to use existing electronics that are laying around.

the Axi setup will make it balistic. you could look at hacker also!
