My Allfa model goes left..
Hi I have the LA-7 and I have a big problem my plane goes left.
Im a beginner so I have had some crashes, I dont know if my settings are correct anymore.
I would be most thankful if someone with experience could give me some basic about how the engine should be angled comparing to the rest of the plane.
All info is appreciated...

RE: My Allfa model goes left..
It's caused by prop torque and ALL the Alfa props do it at inital launch.
You've got to feed in some right aileron at launch and keep it on until the model reaches full flying speed.
After that, add some right trim on your Tx if it is still going left. When it is all trimmed out, the tendancy will disappear.

Thanks a lot for the tip I wil glue my plane and be prepared when I send it away...
I have done some fixes with depron and I wonder if anybody knows what paint I can use to paint it, do you really have to use
those expensive colors specially for RC models?

Acrylic.
Tamiya make good matching colors.
My old green Alfa P47 has taken quite a hammering now. I use 5 mintue epoxy as a repair glue and now don't bother with any paint touch ups.

RE: My Allfa model goes left..
I have an Alfa La-7 with MP Jet brushless outrunner. I've flown this plane 4 times and never experienced a serious torque problem. I hold the plane in my right hand and advance the throttle to about 50% with my left. When the motor has come up to speed, I launch it at about a 20 degree angle upward. At first the La-7 was a little too sensitive to aileron input but after reducing the aileron movement range it flys very nicely.
