Is this a good one?
Is this a good 3d transmitter for a first choice? I was also looking at the Futaba 6xas that coolbean recommended.

Hey kevin.. I like jr radios, you do know that they are positive shift right? unlike futaba which is negative shift... I dont know a lot about radios as im new myself, but im looking at the jr xps6012 or 6102 it might be... but you can find this radio for about the same price on ebay, and I think it does a little bit more...

I wish I would have known more about what I needed when I first bought my radio... I just bought a 4 channel jr sport s 400... and its just your basic 4 channel, has servo reversing, and analog trims, and thats it... to top it off I ended up paying almost 50.00 for the battery that came with it which put it up to a total of 150.00 I paid plus tax... it also came with 3 micro servos of course.. but if I would have known more I could have got a used 6 channel computer radio for the same price, might have not came with servo's but I could have got those later.

Positive shift vs negative shift just has to do with compatibility with other equipment. JR and Airtronics (positive shift) will work together. Futaba and Hitec (negative shift) will work together. Some aftermarket receivers are shift selectable (either automatically or by jumper).
