Default Kline-Fogelman Airfoiled Flying Wing electronics

Ok where to start, i started back in the hobby and decided to try cheep foam build planes so I built this one (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=558321) im almost done in the build but dont know what hardware to put on it? I have a the Airtronics Radiant 6P/6H controller, servos and receiver. After that I dont have much except for a speed controller that I think is way to big.
Now I dont want to spend a fortune but what would be a good set up for it. The brush-less motors look great with li-ion but I have neither and would need to get a charger to which is price. Please I am open to suggestions!! One sight said he used the "UltraFly Frio 10 with speed Apollo 12 controller" (http://blog.thehobbyguy.tv/2006/10/09/5-dollar-wing/)
Also the receiver and servos that I have are standard do you think I could use them? I had to ask but in my opinion I think they will be to big.

I also dont know much about combining electronics so any direction would help.

O yea also forgot that I would like to build more foam planes, non any bigger I think mostly smaller, so I was hopping I could swap gear between them. Also the type of flight I will be doing is more slow to med speed, nothing that reaches a speed that if a crash there will be nothing left. I tend to like slope flying panes which I have 2 but am to afraid to fly. This is all just an Idea so I wont get something outrageous.

Thanks for any suggestions!!

Hi. You do not have to go with a brushless motor. Go with a brushed motor and speed control, that will work fine. In the thread for that build, you will see that Tony65x55 used a regular brushed motor with a geared prop drive. You can pick these up rather cheap, from a place like BPHobbies.com. A 8x6 prop worked on that wing for me (I am the one who wrote the $5 dollar wing build ). A lipo battery is best for the power to weight ratio, but you could go with a ni-mh battery setup, just not a large one.

If you are going to start with foam planes, I would invest in LiPo batteries sooner rather than later. Look around the web and you will find good prices. Also, you do not need a fancy LiPo charger, E-Flight has some basic ones for low prices. You do however need a charger that is for LiPo batteries (just to be clear).

Check out BP Hobbies for a lightweight receiver. I picked a 4-channel receiver (Bluebird) for only $18.00 from them. For the servos, look to get some micro servos with a good torque output, so you can use in various foam planes. E-Bay is a great place to look for these.

If you want to reuse equipment, get some solid equipment at a decent price and make that investment once.
