Default Pushrod Tube for light foamies *help*???

Any ideas on what could be used as a pushrod tube on light foam planes? I like to use light wire but as we all konw, it tends to flex when it is long in length. I am hoping to find something that can be picked up at a craft store, lowes, home depot, etc.

Thanks

kilmerelrc, I use bead seperators for beadwork crafts found in wal-mart crafts section ,comes in pack of ten. Thry are about 1/16'' in dia.
Spread them out about 4'' apart ,hold in place with foam-safe CA, be careful not to glue wire to guide!!! This works for foamies with push-
rods on the outside. glue guides to popcicle sticks and cut to fit in builtup fuses. Hope this helps you. Alan3dflyr

you can use the tubes out of cleaning fluid pump packs, also the plastic ink tube from Bic type pens

Ends of zip-ties..... excellent idea. I ended up using some cut off popsicle sticks with hole drilled in them but I will try the zip-tie next time.

Thanks all for the great suggestions
