Started bulding my flat-out.
Well I started working on my Matt Chapman 580 last night since it came in the mail yesterday morning. Kind of a pain but all is going well. Hope to make my own foamies next from plans. I think foamies are a very good durable structure and is fun building.
Wish me luck.

Cool. Good luck!
Are you going to use the included motor/gearbox? I think the most annoying thing about building the Flatouts is the control hardware they come with. It can be a pain. Have fun, and let us know how it goes.

Ahhhhh.......I remember trying to build my RCU Bipe. The stupid linkages are terrible. I bought it over a year ago and it's never flown. Ever. I hate every aspect of its construction but that's just me.
Good luck with yours, and I hope you have abetter time than I did.... Brushless motors rule, btw...
