Hello all i have a p51 foam plane that is electric and i hooked up all the servos and they work fine but whenever i hook up the battery the damn thing is full throttle/. i have a speed control that has a on and off button but it will not turn it off i can not figure it out any help would be great thanks all

I am not an expert but- have you checked to see that you don't have your speed control hooked up backwards? It should indicate which wires go to the battery and which to your rx. Is it correct? One other idea: Castle Creations makes an excellent speed control called the "Sprite" that comes in sizes for all airplanes. They service what they sell and they have been excellent for the 4 years I have dealt with them. Good luck!

also make sure the speed control is plugged into a channel slot and not the battery slot on the receiver

Check to see if the servo needs reversing on the transmitter.
