Default Marketplace taking over new posts YUK

Wow 17 out of 29 new posts are from the market place ads man that sucks big time I'm not looking to buy anything, yet 50 percent or better are ads. Have interesting posts and activity here sunk to a new low that you have to put the ads in the new posts so it looks like the forums are active???????

I 100% agree ! There should be separation from marketplace and forums. Old marketplace was very easy to use - easy to review new listings daily - and quick review of wish list. Always looked to forums as a learning tool and source of new techniques and ideas. VERY DISAPPOINTED ! ! !

We are told this is what progress looks like and that we will grow to like it. I think that is a hard sell.

They need to get the Market Place out of the new/recent posts. This new format sucks.

They don't care what the membership wants like it or lump it has been the way they have always proceeded with so called upgrades. If it doesn't change or at least allow me to block the market place from showing up every time I check the new posts I think I will leave for another forum. Of course that may be what they want so the only ones left are the sheeple.

By "sheeple", do you mean the ones who signed up on this site for free? Although nothing is free. I figure if I don`t pay anything to be on here than I have to lo look at the ads. I don`t know how it works, but I do think anyone who pays toward sponsorship of this site shouldn't have to look at ads.

Are you saying that it costs for new members to sign up now?

Well I just opened new posts and 45 out of 92 new posts were market place still terrible. Will not even bother to sort through them waste of time as I am not interested in buying anything at this time. Off to RCScalebuilder.com and Mecoa.com heck even RCGroups has a better layout now.

I have to wonder why when you quoted me you choose to edit my quote to include a sentence I did not post. I refer to the complete sentence in red. I did not write that why have you decided to put those words in my post as if they were written by me???? I do not understand the need for creative editing.

I tested on Windows 7 and Google Chrome and was able to mark the listing as sold.

Clear your cache/cookies and try again. What device and browser were you using? If you can give me the steps you took in your attempt to mark your listing as sold, it will be easier to find a solution.
