You are not allowed to post URLs until you have at least 10 posts
Hey, I'm trying to post some text and an attached picture in a forum.
I get the following message: You are not allowed to post URLs until you have at least 10 posts
I'm not posting a URL.
I test posted in the test area and the text works. The problem is when I add the picture.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks ...

You're not doing anything wrong, the 10 post restriction also applies to images. We had to put this measure in place to prevent spam on the forums.

Ok, I want to post a question in the Clubhouse, but my question needs an attached picture to be meaningful.
Am I going to need to post 10 times elsewhere before I can do this? Or, can I convince someone I'm not a Spammer and update my account?

We can't make an an exception to the restriction. You'll have to create 10 posts, you're almost there.

Our moderators patrol the website, if they see someone is spamming to build up their post count they'll be dealt with. The volume of spam from people building up their post count is much lower than not having the restriction in place.

RCU is not what it used to be. Makes me sad because there used to be so many good contributors and content was fast and furious, but the issues that plagued the forum via forum “upgrades” and the numerous bugs turned people off. The traffic I use to see posted here is showing up on the other big RC group forum these days. Pity because RCU is moderated so much better. Or used to be anyway.
