Default Looking through pages and then they are gone.

I was looking through the pages of My Forums and walked away from my computer for about 4 minutes. When I came back, I clicked the next page (it was something like page 8 with more to go) and the next page showed nothing. When I clicked "back", there was also nothing.

I clicked back to the forums and it was as if I signed off and back on. It only showed 24 new posts when there used to be 300+. I had not marked all read or anything like that.

Thanks.

lmk if it happens again. we put in a new security measure which "might" have caused this. It might be a one time thing.

Hi Marc,

This happened again earlier today. This time, though, I did not walk away from the computer or let it sit for any length of time. I was reading a post and when I clicked "back", it showed no posts. Then when I went back to My Forums, it was as if I logged in all over again.

Mike

Hi Marc,

Happened again. Seems to happen about twice a month. I can't isolate it to any specific circumstance. Today's happened when I took a trip to my other "office" and when I got back and clicked to the next page, it was as if I logged off and logged back in. It showed a couple of pages of new posts but I was no longer in "My Forums". Not a big deal, but if it's something that can be fixed either on your end or mine, it'd be better if it didn't happen.

Let me know if you can think of anything I should try.

this could be a server hop issue. if a proxy pops you to another ip address and we bounce you to another front end server your session could be gone and then it sees you coming back "fresh"

we are doing some code work on this sort of thing which "may" help hopefully.

thanks.

Sounds good. I won't mention it anymore. Not "that" big of an issue.

Thanks
