Delete icon missing?

I don't see a delete icon to the right of my post, only reply, quote, edit and fwd, so whats going on? How can I delete without one?

I don't think there ever was a delete button. Edit with some meaningless characters? ;)

I ran into that the other day too, I also thought there was a delete button.

I just erased all the text and typed in "Deleted."

Just what I did...the FAQ on this site actually shows the delete icon and tells you that's how it's done. Guess they never implemented it.
